BigDish - evil spin doctor, the Sith Lord Zak Mir, needs to get his act together...

EXCLUSIVE: Reabold Resources – Winnileaks strikes again, up to £30 million placing set to be announced 8 October. Read HERE

BigDish (DISH) “is pleased to announce that it has reached an agreement with NFS Technology Group to integrate BigDish within its Point of Sale software solution for restaurants” – noting “NFS Technology Group have been operating for over 20 years and has over 1,500 clients”. The shares are though currently more than 4% lower at 3.25p. Hmmm…

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: The anatomy of a share ramper. Listen HERE

The company emphasises the move “will enable the operational team of a restaurant to access the BigDish Manager features directly within the POS. In addition, it enables a restaurant to link BigDish dining activity data with diner spend data thus providing valuable marketing insights to the restaurant”. However, there is no financial information provided and the current stage is a “meeting with the NFS team this month to plan the implementation of the integration”.

Reach4Entertainment – interims & looking forward with confidence. Buy say Tom Winnifrith & Steve Moore HERE

This is with the 15 months ended 31st March 2019 having seen for BigDish an even adjusted more than £1 million loss and period-end net current liabilities of £0.7 million. In June though it raised £2.1 million of new equity at 7.2p per share, noting rollout acceleration and “fully funded until 2021”. The circumstances of that placing when the company had said it needed no funding, a disgraceful debacle, we exposed HERE. The UK launch was only in January – with the noted results showing revenue of only £31,955, though since that period-end the company has announced it is now live in a number of new towns and cities and a latest update included “the company has been very pleased with the recruitment campaign to support the UK rollout… We have a great team of new recruits joining BigDish, including OpenTable's former highest achieving sales person for the UK and Europe. This will result in BigDish expanding its footprint across the United Kingdom”. But what the company and its spin doctor, the Sith Lord Zak Mir, refuse to do is to provide any hard numbers on the number of new sites signed up and, critically, on the number of restaurants cancelling.

We thus await financial evidence of the model – and this against a market cap of still more than £11 million. At this point thus for the watchlist, at best – though also a quick point for Zak, the company’s “Digital Communications Officer” and formerly of this Parish before his defection to Jim Mellon and then his jump onto the dark side, – to consider; we’re not sure an announcement title of just “NFS Technology Group” helps the communications cause! Come on Sith Lord get your act together....

Risk Warning & Disclaimer

The hot share tips given here are of necessity, general. They cannot relate to the individual circumstances of investors. Anyone considering following the share tips contained here should seek independent advice from a Financial Conduct Authority authorised Stockbroker or Financial Adviser. We cannot be held liable if individuals suffer losses through following share tips contained on this site or emailed out as free share tips. The value of investments can go down as well as up. The past is not necessarily a guide to future performance. Investing in shares can lose you part or all of your capital although the potential returns are theoretically unlimited. The difference between the buy share price and the sell share price for smaller company shares (penny shares) can be significant. Profits from dealing in shares may be liable to tax - the level of tax and bases of relief from tax are subject to change. Changes in the rates of exchange may have an adverse effect on the value or price of an investment in sterling terms if it is denominated in a foreign currency. Some of the shares recommended on this site will be smaller company shares. By their nature such investments can be relatively illiquid and thus hard to trade. And that makes such investments more of a high risk than larger company shares (or 'small caps'/'penny shares'). FiveFreeShareTips.com & its sister site ShareProphets.com defines a smaller company share as any stock traded on AIM or NEX or which has a market capitalisation of less than £300 million.
