Ariana Resources - a cue to bank massive profits on this share tip? Nigel Somerville reviews...

Good news: Watchstone PLC off the hook for the Quindell fraud, great news Rob Terry et al are not! Read from Tom Winnifrith, The Sheriff of AIM, HERE

The latest from AIM-listed Turkish gold miner Ariana Resources (AAU) has been a resource update which looks very positive and the shares are again approaching 3.5p. The detail contained in the announcement suggests that the Kiziltepe mine has a good long run ahead of it, with head honcho Kerim Sener noting that the revised estimate supports an increase in expected mine-life to at least 2026 using a historical Resource to Reserve conversion ratio of 60%.

UK Oil & Gas – More shares (probably) and more questions for lying Steve Sanderson. Read from Peter Brailey HERE

The global (undepleted) Mineral Resouce Estimate is now up at 321,000 oz gold and 5 million ounces of silver, which is a 25% increase over the May 2017 estimate and 72% increase of the Feasability Study resource (gold only, undepleted). This is very positive news indeed, and the next step is for the resource estimate numners to be converted to Reserves – at which point it looks as though the Kiziltepe mine life will be significantly extended.

After 4 letters from myself to the regulator, disgraced Bidstack is forced to admit to lying again. Read HERE

And the good news does not stop there, for this does NOT include inferred resources and exploration targets and we also learnt that a new diamond drilling programme is getting underway at Arzu South aimed at potential underground extensions to the current resource. With news on the potential project at Tavsan and more imminently confirmation that the bank debt to build the Kiziltepe plant has all been settled, not to mention the potential corporate action under which Ariana would get $30 million in cash and see its Salinbas project funded for the next phase of development in return for dropping Ariana’s ownership to 23.5% across both Kiziltepe and Salinbas, there is a great deal to play for.

I kind of wish BP had cut its dividend says Chris Bailey HERE

At 3.4p Ariana is capitalised at £36 million. If that corporate action goes through it would return about two thirds of its market cap in cash, leaving it beautifully placed to take advantage of what looks to me like a very strong run for gold over the months and years ahead. Until we get confirmation of the corporate action, I am content to leave my view as is, namely to top-slice a small amount at 3.5p and to hold on tightly to the rest for what looks like a great ride ahead as both Ariana and its product get ever more into the spotlight.

Risk Warning & Disclaimer

The hot share tips given here are of necessity, general. They cannot relate to the individual circumstances of investors. Anyone considering following the share tips contained here should seek independent advice from a Financial Conduct Authority authorised Stockbroker or Financial Adviser. We cannot be held liable if individuals suffer losses through following share tips contained on this site or emailed out as free share tips. The value of investments can go down as well as up. The past is not necessarily a guide to future performance. Investing in shares can lose you part or all of your capital although the potential returns are theoretically unlimited. The difference between the buy share price and the sell share price for smaller company shares (penny shares) can be significant. Profits from dealing in shares may be liable to tax - the level of tax and bases of relief from tax are subject to change. Changes in the rates of exchange may have an adverse effect on the value or price of an investment in sterling terms if it is denominated in a foreign currency. Some of the shares recommended on this site will be smaller company shares. By their nature such investments can be relatively illiquid and thus hard to trade. And that makes such investments more of a high risk than larger company shares (or 'small caps'/'penny shares'). FiveFreeShareTips.com & its sister site ShareProphets.com defines a smaller company share as any stock traded on AIM or NEX or which has a market capitalisation of less than £300 million.
